I’m a 73 yr old jazz saxophonist living in Bristol, I play clarinet, alto & Soprano sax and have lots of experience playing in big bands in Bristol and in Europe. Met Mark getting his alto sax repaired as I was at Headwind in Bristol, but it won’t be ready for around 6 weeks.
Purpose of this message from me as a request to use me as a deputy should you ever need me ? . The only snag I don’t have my own transport but am prepared to stay the night at the home of any members of your band. I am well acquainted with many big band charts and a recent ex member of the Bristol Community Big Band. At present playing with the Bristol University Wind band on clarinet and in a Methodist church orchestra.
