Another recce…

…..this time for a gig in the National Arboretum in Westonbirt, for the volunteers.

Oh! Is this for us?!

Sadly no…it’s for Rag’n’Bone Man, playing there tonight! And Keane on Friday, Madness on Saturday, and Texas on Sunday…we’re in good company!

The Great Oak Hall

We’ll be in the Great Oak Hall, weather permitting.

It’s a gorgeous space!

We’re so lucky, getting a chance to play in such interesting and gorgeous places! Last week a beautiful village green, in a couple of weeks time a stunning oak hall.

It’s our birthday!

Four years ago, room 10 got together for the first time…a very different group of people to who we are now! But with about half of us stalwarts from the start, I think I can still confidently say we’re still the same room 10 band!

Here are a few pics from the last four years – and now we’re back to our full complement of nine, and rehearsing madly, I’m sure we’ll soon have more performance photos to add to these. 😁

Onward and upward!

Me and the girls giving it welly on our very first gig.
The appreciative audience!
Gig at Ridgewood
Mark…The Boss!
This was such fun! The Filton golf club party.
A birthday party in Cardiff
Tetbury, VE celebrations party
Was there ever a cooler pic?!
Warmley Jazz Club, just before the first lockdown

And finally, in those halcyon Room 10 days….

A fab night was had by all!

What a great night! More pics to come – but I couldn’t resist sharing this instrumental snippet – aren’t they cool?!

A change of venue…

room 10 are delighted to announce a change of venue! We’re now going to be in the lovely, friendly Greyhound in Tetbury on Saturday. And it’s free!

No comedy acts now though, sorry, unless…no. You wouldn’t be so cheeky!

See you there!

Tetbury recce

Mark, Hazel and I (Pat) popped over to beautiful Tetbury today, to check out the venue of our next gig https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/southwestlive/1940s-sweetheart-ball/e-zzopyy

It’s all looking fab – we’re very happy with the hall, and it’s a good sized stage too. It’s very central – this famous building is just round the corner!

Such a pretty part of the country, we’ll enjoy visiting.
